Publications

The magazines that published me are led by people whose work inspired me greatly over the years.
So thanks for asking me to show my images to the world.
National Geographic Romania featured this image in their June 2009 issue as part of a campaign to promote Retezat National Park as one of the 7 Natural Wonders.
National Geographic Romania featured one of my images in their August 2009 issue in a story about the fragility of the alpine areas. Not so many reach them, but these places are affected in the long run by pollution taking place somewhere else.
GDT Forum Naturfotografie is the magazine of the Society of German Nature Photographers. It's one of the biggest nature photography associations. I had the great pleasure of answering some questions from Sandra Bartocha, editor and a terrific photographer.
One of my favorite series, Interference, was published in Romania's Photo Magazine (October 2012 issue).
An interview I'm very fond of with Cristina Costieanu, former editor of the Romanian magazine Foto-Video.
Probably the first time my photos appeared in a magazine. Photo Travel was a Romanian magazine.
After this interview with Cristina Ţintă, editor of the online magazine FOTO4all, I became a collaborator myself.

Awards

I'm not a big fan of contests, but I must admit I took part in a few over the years. It's an objective evaluation of my works, helping me understand where I am at a certain moment in time and how I could improve the way I see and do things. It also helps spreading the word about my images which is always a good and selfish thing to do. :)

• there are a few more, including various awards at Fotogeografica, but I can't remember them right now
